#festivaliminente is an independent festival born in #Lisbon in 2016, with a 360-degree-vision on urban cultures by artist #Vhils aka Alexandre Farto. Each year, it is a blend of urban cultures; music, visual arts, community-based workshops, installations and live performances. The site, a post-industrial wasteland in #Matinha, #Lisbon, overlooks #Vhils’s gallery #Underdogs. With four concert stages, the sandy site and its distinctive gas structures faces the Tagus river and its industrial harbour. In pink sunsets, transformed into a circus, a soundboard or a nomadic cercle of fire weaving fictions, #festivaliminente is in Vhils’s own words: "a safe space for the true and #free spirit of #urban #culture in all of its forms, encouraging casual #interaction and proximity between #artists, #art and #audience."
