Cemitério dos Ingleses [British Cemetery] via the
Jardim Guerra Junqueiro in Estrela. Consistent in feeding my imagination, these places formed my lively observatory of the change of season; an open air laboratory from which I would smuggle out dead branches and fallen flowers. Half trophies half ephemeral sculptures, they hang in my bedroom-atelier. I photograph each and reflect upon their complex lineages.
