Hospitality leader with 20 years across luxury dining, hotel operations, and intimate, high-touch venues, Maria Machado built her name at the pioneering restaurant Tartar-ia at Time Out Market when it opened in 2014.

Known for elevating guest experience, building high-performing front-of-house teams, curating F&B with impeccable sourcing, and crafting atmospheric playlists. Misc served the highest quality fish and meat tartars, with fish supplied by Rosamar at Mercado da Ribeira, and a cheesecake that kept growing in fame—her grandmother's recipe.
